As a ten-year veteran police officer, I searched for products with the ability to comfortably carry extra magazines while off duty and undercover.  There are many products out in the market today, but they have limitations.  Most of the products have obsticles to retreive the magazine if you need to make an emergency or tactical reload.  The MRS does have its limitations, but far less than many other products do.  The MRS has the same uses as other products, including several additional tactical advantages.  It is very comfortable and readily available if you need it.  It is hassle free and no large magazine pouches are needed for the MRS.  All you have to do is replace the magazine butt plate and it is ready to use.  I have been using the MRS for the past year and I love it.  I now carry extra magazines with my full size Springfield TRP Operator rather than my snub nose tiny caliber revolver.

The MRS will soon be available for the full/compact size handguns that you have wanted to carry, but were not able to due to the current products available.
